What is MyZone?
My Zone is a new innovative heart rate based system that uses wireless and cloud technology to accurately and conveniently monitor physical activity. It monitors heart rate, calories and time exercising that converts into MYZONE effort Points (MEPs), with a focus on rewarding effort rather than fitness. We have big screen monitors in our gym to show you who’s making what effort –all to push you to your best efforts!
HIIT FIT Cardio – 45 minutes, HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. All about short bursts of 100% effort with short recovery times. Burn more fat in less time. Cardio focus is on raising the heart rate for whole-body benefits.
HIIT FIT Strength – 45 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training with a focus on building lean muscle and burning fat. You will get an all over body strength workout.
LIIT FIT – A low IMPACT class. It doesn’t mean low intensity- just means if you have joint issues or you don’t want to jump you can still get a mean cardio kick. LIITFFIT will include light weights and Zuu Fitness Moves to make this class fun and a great way to expand your exercise regime.
CYCLEFIT – Your spin class with a kick! Build cardio stamina and leg strength on the bike with benefits to the upper body and core.
COMMANDOFIT – By appointment only, this is a Personal Training Group Class based on participation, maximum of 6 people per class. Please see reception if you are interested in these classes.
COMMANDO KIDS – Our popular Functional Fitness Training spree for 7 to 12 year olds. Great fun with a serious workout. These classes are run term to term and bookings are essential.
BARRE FIT– BarreFit uses ballet-inspired movements and poses to deliver a full body workout that is great for strengthening your core, and toning your glutes, legs and arms. BarreFit isolates, sculpts and strengthen every major muscle group in the body through small range, low impact, and targeted movements. BarreFit helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture.
RIG FIT- Including compound strentgh moves- you will learn correct tecnique when is comes to push/ pull movements. This class will also include metabolic conditioning so you not only leave feeling like you got a strength workout but you will also improve your fitness levels
Body Attack – a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats.
Body Balance – yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered. Happy.
Body Step Athletic – you can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping, with squat and lunge patterns to work the legs. Combine this with movements like burpees, push ups and weight plate exercises, and the result is a fun, uplifting, full-body workout! Don’t worry, there’s heaps of options so that everyone leaves feeling successful.
